What would a group of Punksters look like if they revived in a postmortem rave? The idea comes from playing on the literal meaning of Punk is not dead theme chosen for the 2024 edition of Bonolabo contest.
Bonobolabo is a shop specializing in the sale of skateboards and products in the world of street art in Bologna. In 2024 it held a contest to create a graphic for a skateboard and a beer can with the theme Punk is not dead.
In my work I like to range, to be able to go from paper to etching to digital. Punk is not dead is an example of how a taste for the grotesque blends with a more pop reality.
I drew on Spider-Punk by making use of the acid colors characteristic of Pop punk.
